You're a Singapore tax resident if you're a Singapore citizen or permanent resident ordinarily resident in Singapore, or if you're a foreigner who stayed or worked in Singapore for 183 or more days in the calendar year. Singapore taxes residents on income derived from or received in Singapore; foreign-source income remitted to Singapore is generally exempt.
