Tax Residency Rules in Bulgaria (in simple language)
You're a Bulgarian tax resident if you have a permanent address in Bulgaria, or if you spent more than 183 days there in any 12-month period, or if your main personal and financial connections (center of vital interests — family, property, work, investments) are in Bulgaria. Days of entry and exit each count separately. Time in Bulgaria purely for school or medical treatment doesn't count.
