Tax Residency Rules in Finland (in simple language)
You're a Finnish tax resident if your main home is in Finland, or if you stay there continuously for more than 6 months (short absences don't break the count). If you leave Finland, you're still treated as a resident for 3 years after the year you left — unless you can prove you have no substantial ties to Finland. Finnish diplomats posted abroad are also considered residents.View Tax Law Source
