Tax Residency Rules in Israel (in simple language)

You're an Israeli tax resident if Israel is the "center of your life" — meaning your family, work, home, and financial connections are there. By default, this is assumed to be true if you spent 183 or more days in Israel in the tax year, or if you spent 30+ days in Israel this year and a combined 425+ days over the current year and the two previous years. Both you and the tax authority can challenge this assumption with evidence.View Tax Law Source
