    Tax Residency Rules in Brazil (in simple language)

    You're a Brazilian tax resident if you enter Brazil with a permanent visa, or if you enter with a temporary visa and either obtain an employment contract or stay in Brazil for more than 183 days (consecutive or not) within any 12-month period. Once resident, you're taxed on worldwide income. You remain a resident until you formally notify the Brazilian tax authority of departure and file a final exit tax return.View Tax Law Source
