Tax Residency Rules in Ireland (in simple language)
You're an Irish tax resident if you're physically present in Ireland for 183 days or more in a tax year, or for 280 days or more across the current and previous year combined (with at least 30 days in each year). Even a brief presence on a given day counts as a full "day" for this test. If you're present for 30 days or less in a year, those days are ignored. You can also voluntarily elect to be treated as a resident in certain situations.View Tax Law Source
